President Muhammadu will address the nation on the occasion of Nigeria’s Democracy Day, Friday, June 12.
Television and radio stations as well as other electronic media outlets, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said, should hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
It will be the first time the nation will celebrate Democracy Day on June 12 which used to be May 29.

The presidential election won by businessman, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola won was on the date annulled by the military led by General Ibrahim Babangida.
