Ishaku at 65: He is urban planner of international repute –Okowa

Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State is an architect and urban planner of international repute, Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has affirmed.

Okowa made the remark on the occasion of Ishaku’s 65th birthday on Tuesday.

Okowa, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, in Asaba, Okowa lauded the professional competence and administrative acumen of Ishaku.

He noted with delight the ongoing developmental strides in road construction, education, health and security being recorded in Taraba.

He added: “The sterling and legendary contributions of Governor Ishaku, whose visionary and pragmatic rescue mission initiative has ensured the provision of water, roads and other social amenities for the people of Taraba State.

“It is heart-warming to note that you have through dint of hard work, discipline and uncommon vision won the admiration and respect of Taraba State people and the nation at large.”

He added: “The Governor’s commitment to the development of Taraba State was increasingly yielding the expected results.”

“Your focus and commitment to the growth and development of Taraba State is commendable and worthy of emulation. The people of Taraba State are indeed proud of your antecedents and achievements since they overwhelmingly re-elected you to lead the state to a brighter future ahead of them.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I heartily rejoice with a world class architect and urban planner of repute, a perfect gentleman, reputable politician, outstanding professional and my brother governor, His Excellency, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, Governor of Taraba State as he turns 65 years old on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

“I am pleased to join your family and other well-wishers in thanking God for blessing you with the strength and wisdom to live a fulfilling life of honesty and commitment to the well-being of all Taraba people,” Okowa stated.

“It is our prayer that God will continue to protect you and grant you good health to render more services to mankind,” he said.
