Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has approved the constitution of Interim Management Committee, IMC, for the 27 local government areas of the state.
The decision followed the directive from Imo State House of Assembly that an Interim Management Committee be constituted for effective management of the affairs of the councils.
Uzodinma gave the approval on Wednesday just as the 27 IMC chairmen will be sworn-in today.
According to the governor, other members for each local government area in the state will be announced later.
The chairmen of the interim management are as follows:
