The suspected bomber caught with improvised explosive devices (IED) at the Living Faith Church, Sabon Tasha, Chickun Local Government area of Kaduna State was arrested in the church toilet.
Some worshippers at the church said the suspected bomber, identified as Nathaniel Samuel, dropped his bag in the church and sneaked out.
He was however later traced to the church toilet where he was caught holding a remote control and was subsequently handed over to the police, according to some worshippers who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Command, has said its operatives had begun investigation to ascertain the mission of the middle aged man.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the command, Yakubu Sabo, only an investigation could reveal what he planned to do with the device.
The police boss promised to make public the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
