Governor Kayode Fayemi is to address the people of Ekiti State tonight.
The broadcast, according to the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, will be made shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari’s nationwide broadcast scheduled for 8.00 p.m. today.
It is expected that the president will address the nation on COVID-19.
It will be the third time that the president will be addressing the nation.
Nigerians are waiting anxiously to know if the president will extend the lockdown imposed in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja, to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
It is expected that Fayemi’s proposed address to the people of the state will also be based on COVID-19 and measures to take to prevent its spread.
