Three persons were killed Tuesday evening following a gas explosion at Palmgroove Estate, Ajao area of Lagos State.
Two other persons were rescued.
The Acting Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Lagos, Alhaji Ibrahim Farinloye, who made this known in a statement made available to journalists explained that the explosion occurred at about 6.58 p.m. at a panel beater’s shop.
He said that seven shops were partially affected by the explosion.
“The explosion occurred when the technician was trying to up his Oxycytelene flame, popularly known as cabad cylinder,” he added.
