President Muhammadu Buhari has directed law enforcement agencies to ensure that those behind the killing of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, be brought to justice in the shortest possible time.
Fasoranti is the leader of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere.
Funke Olakunrin, 58, was shot dead on Friday along Kajola-Ore Road in Ondo State by people the police described as robbers.
The directive of the president was made known in a message of condolence issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, to Fasoranti.
The president prayed that God would comfort Pa Fasoranti and give him the fortitude to bear the grievous loss.
