The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, has ordered immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of an FRSC driver.
The driver who was in an official patrol vehicle along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway at about 20 kilometres to the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday is suspected to have been killed by armed robbers.
The attack carried out at Talata Marafa route under Kakau Unit Command left the driver who was the only one in the vehicle dead on the spot.
In an official statement released by the Corps Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Kazeem, Oyeyemi commiserated with the family of the deceased Marshal.
He prayed God to grant the late Marshal eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the sad loss.
