A free Google digital skills training programme holds on Sunday at Calvary International Christian Centre, Calvary Cathedral, Ijoko Lemode, Ogun State.

The training titled Digital Skills For Africa is a Google initiative in conjunction with Growth Tribe Africa, which aims to equip people living in Africa with digital skills.

The programme starts at 1.00 p.m.

Digital marketing skills remain the most sought after in the new decade as the digital, machine learning, artificial intelligence is taking over the world.

Google announced in 2017 that it had trained one million people towards the goal of helping close the digital knowledge gap in Africa, improve employability and job creation.

The company subsequently is committed to providing another 10 million people with free digital skills training for the jobs of the future over the next five years.

The free training programme, according to the organisers, is available for different organisations including churches and mosques.
