Former Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Professor Lateef Akanni Hussein, is dead.
He was 75 years old.
According to a tweet on the official handle of the institution (@LASUOfficial) on Monday, the Professor of Physics died on Sunday after a brief illness.
As the sixth substantive vice chancellor, Hussein served between 2005 and 2011.
