You have my best wishes over your emergence as the chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, on Thursday told his successor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
Fayemi took over the chairmanship from the governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, on Thursday.
Fayose described Fayemi’s emergence as deserving.
The congratulatory message was sent in a statement by his media aide, Lere Olayinka.
His words: “I congratulate Governor Kayode Fayemi on his appointment and elevation as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
“It is well deserved for you and the entire people of Ekiti. Politics will come and go, but Ekiti State will remain eternal.
“Once again, you have my best wishes.”
