The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomohole, has warned that the days of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as Delta State governor are numbered.

He gave the warning on Thursday at the APC rally held in Warri, Delta State.

According to him, the APC candidate in the state, Chief Great Ogboru, would defeat him in the coming election.

Oshiomhole who also spoke at the APC rally in Benin Edo State called on politicians in the opposition parties to join APC in multitude.

The national chairman who received some members of the PDP who defected to the APC said once they joined his party, their sins would be forgiven.

“We have some PDP defectors. They are, Henry Tenebe, Iluobe… Iluobe means I have done something wrong. Yes, once you join the APC, your sins are forgiven,” Oshiomhole said.

He called on the people of the state to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and all the candidates of the APC in the coming election.

Oshiomhole also called on Buhari to probe the $16bn spent on the National Integrated Power Project by the PDP-led government of Olusegun Obasanjo.

Said he: “Mr President, in your second term, I urge you with respect sir, you must fulfill the question which we have asked. After $16bn, you will ask, where is the light? Mr President, you have a duty to man and to God to ensure that that question must be answered. It must be answered judiciously. It must be answered in the court of law and what people are entitled to know.”
