Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University of Education, LASUED, Associate Professor Nosiru Olajide Onibon, has called on staff of the institution to promote peace and unity.
Onibon who is also the Provost, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, made the call in his Easter message.
Celebrating with Christian on the occasion of Easter, he said the promotion of peace and unity was very necessary for the progress of the institution.
While recalling the transmutation of the two Lagos State colleges of education to a university, Onibon expressed appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, saying the decision was a timely and beautiful one.
He enjoined staff and students to join hands together with the state government in making the state continue to be a centre of excellence.
He further admonished Nigerians not to be downcast as hope in God and current efforts of the government will take the country to a greater height.
