First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, has called on recipients of Blessings of Africa Iconic Champion of Change Award to remain motivated and do great things in the lives of others.
The First Lady was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Dr. Hajo Sani.
The event was held by Global Empowerment Movement at the Roosevelt Hotel, New York.
Founder of GEM, Dr. Queen Blessing Itua, and organiser of the event said recipients done great things by making a difference in their various chosen careers and undertakings.
Some of the awardees include Dr. Delois Blakely, queen mother; Festus Uzoma of Uzotex Charity Foundation and Dame Angelique Bonet, founder, world peace initiative.
