For things to get better for us we have to get better.  In many countries of the world today it appears rather illogical to agitate or ask for change since those in charge hardly listen to the general populace unless their positions are truly threatened. So, don’t ask for a change out there because it’s better to change yourself.

Try to get intelligent, stronger and better at what you do. Be determined to handle the bad times. You cannot always change things when they get bad. But you can change yourself. You can get stronger. When you attend a class or training, don’t just go for fun. Go home with more ideas than you came with. Improve yourself in language, personality and style. Keep at it. Do the things that can change you again and again.  That goal that you set for yourself, keep at it. Do it again and again. Expand your network. Touch people you could not touch before. Find a way to touch their heart and soul. No matter what the downturn is, get better, stronger and wiser. Take advantage of opportunities. Opportunities will come.

Opportunities are not signs that you will profit, but learn to take advantage. Seize item with both hands. Read books, study tapes, get better at what you do. Opportunities do not always last. Don’t waste your opportunities. Seize them and take full advantage.

Opportunities are not signs that you will profit, but learn to take advantage. Seize item with both hands.

When you make headway and create a system that yields fruit for you, learn to nourish and protect it. Take care of your sources of income and opportunity. Defend yourselves against the enemies. There are always other people, systems or organisations out to take what you have put in place. Whatever threatens you, threaten it back if you must. If someone wants to destroy your opportunities or plans through negative talk, moves, do battle with your indifference. Don’t rest too long. The weeds will take all your plants if you rest too long. Decision making is important. Ambition is a mystery to a lot people. It’s an eager desire for distinction power or fame. You can be eager to live a better life, have a better family, make a lot of money. We have the remarkable ability to get what we have. But there is a difference between wishes and desires. I wish must become eager desire.

Before lifestyle can change, a wish must become a desire. A desire will take you further than a wish and habit will take you further than desire. The back bone of an eager desire for change is nurturing the habit of discipline. A better life tomorrow requires preparation today. Live what you want every moment. Create a new habit that will lead to a greater future and start today. Start now!

Why do a large number of people wonder in awe why life can be so unfair complicated and unjust; while a smaller group seem to be just enjoying life and getting better. Dreams are the projection of the kind of life we want to live. Dreams can over power things in our way. Well defined dreams must not be fuzzy. Wishes are fuzzy.

Dreams must be clear cut and defined. If we have a dream that is strongly defined and vivid enough it will lead to a strong desire and we shall cultivate habits that will bring it to pass.  Harvard psychologist, William James described success as an inner ideal that is followed persistently with courage. Defining a goal and having the resolve to complete it takes a certain amount of discipline. Practice it until you get it right. Step by step, piece by piece until you learn change and grow.

Outer achievement is related to that inner ideal. The first part is more important than the second. As long as you work for you inner dreams on how you can be successful things will eventually give way if you try hard enough. Do everything to make sure you reach the dream. Do it until you get there. Be like the runner on the long obstacle race in a cross country ordeal. He does not give up till he reaches the finish line.

What outside evidence will you see when you are accomplishing your goals? Little things will begin to change. If you go to bed late, wake up late and find that your schedule does not fit your job. You will be in crisis.  Why not do the opposite? Go to bed early, wake up early, get to work early. Change how you look at mornings and you will find things will begin to change.

Perhaps the people around you will not be so hard to work with. Start changing what goes on within you; then you will change what goes on around you. You can do it with your lifestyle, your management or sales career. What small changes can you make? Smile at the person you find stuck in traffic. Say a big hello when you get to the office. Hug your family when you get home from work. You can’t be successful alone. There is nothing like a rich hermit. Even if you met goals at the office you did not do it alone. Without your support team you could never have made it.

Desire is what you want for yourself but remember to add a little habit to it and you see change imminent – A bigger house, a better car, a fatter bank account, a better life.

The winds will certainly blow around you. Obstacles will be fast and furious when you begin to change. If you know your path and where you are going, the storm will push you forward. Desire does not always translate into ambition. Desire is what you want for yourself but remember to add a little habit to it and you see change imminent – A bigger house, a better car, a fatter bank account, a better life. We all desire to have these things.

Ambition is how you get there. Desire can be healthy; sometimes desire can be unhealthy. Desire might say: I want to have the tallest building in town.  The destructive side of desire might urge you to destroy other peoples’ comfort to achieve yours.  Soon you will no longer be known as a builder, but a destroyer.

Another way to achieve your tallest building is to see it, dream it and plan it!  Put a team on it, work on it. Go through all the necessary steps to get there. Do it right.  Whatever your ambition is, desire will prompt you and habit will take you there but make sure you are ethical about. Don’t join the group that cuts corners or you will have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your achievement bearing life.
