Every Nigerian living in Ghana is safe, the Deputy Head of Mission, Ghana High Commission to Nigeria, Ms Iva Denoo, has assured.

“Ghana cherishes the cordial relationship that it is enjoying with the Nigerian government and has so much to gain than to lose from Nigerians in Ghana,” she stressed.

Denoo said that her country had a Diaspora Department and hope that the two countries could come together and work out something that would be beneficial to them.

The Secretary to the Commission, Bassi thanked the Ghana Deputy Head of Mission for her visit and urged her to ensure that Nigerians in Ghana were secure and safe because the two countries had a lot in common and should not be compromised.

He described the countries as the shining stars in the sub-region and the continent as a whole.
