The Chairman of the Board of Management of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Alhaji Shettima Ibrahim Bako Bagudu, has tested negative for coronavirus.
The announcement was made on Sunday by the Public Relations Officer of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibaadan, Mr. Toye Akinrinlola.
According to him, two tests were carried out on Bagudu and returned negative.
That was after he had been in quarantine for three weeks.
He quoted Bagudu as calling on Nigerians to observe the guidelines laid down by the World Health Organization, WHO, and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, .
He also thanked the UCH community for their support and encouragement during the trying period.
Bagudu expressed his appreciation to the CMD, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo, the management of the hospital and all the medical personnel that attended to him during the period of quarantine.
The spokesman of UCH said the board, management, staff and students of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, heartily congratulated the chairman on the clean bill of health.
