Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has embarked on self-isolation over coronavirus.
The step became necessary following the news of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, testing positive to the disease.
Like Kyari, Osinbajo works at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
As a result of his self-isolation, Osinbajo now holds meetings via video conferencing.
Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande, confirmed the action of his principal in a tweet.
The tweet reads: “VP Osinbajo yesterday at the office conducted his meetings via video conferencing, while observing social distancing. Today, he continues his work from the home office, as he is in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols.”
It would be recalled that Buhari has tested negative to coronavirus.
