The number of coronavirus cases in Nigerian increased to 5,445 on
Friday as 288 new cases were recorded.
Lagos witnessed an upsurge in the number of cases it recorded as it
led other states of the federation with 179.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control which made the announcement on
it Twitter handle gave more details:
