COVID-19: Nigeria’s cases increase to 2,388 as 220 new ones are confirmed

The current number of cases in Nigeria increased to 2,388 with 220 new ones recorded on Saturday.

Lagos came top with 62 patients followed by Abuja with 52 cases.

Number of cases in others states of the federation are stated in the list made available by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.

“Two cases previously reported in Katsina were repeat tests.

“Therefore, as at 11:55pm May 2 2020, Katsina State has a total of 38 confirmed cases.”
