Nigeria, on Thursday, recorded 1,964 new cases of coronavirus, being the highest daily figure so far.
The figure was released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
The new daily figure brought the total to 116,655.
Lagos is still leading on the table with 824 new cases.
