Nigeria has recorded 576 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 89,163.
The new daily figure is far lower than that of the previous day which was well over 1,000.
The new figure was released on Saturday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Lagos retains its top position with 277 new cases.
