Nigeria has recorded 296 new cases of coronavirus, with the total now 55,456.
The new figures were released on Tuesday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Plateau has returned to the top of the list with 183 new cases while Lagos is second with 33 new cases.
