COVID-19: Nigeria records 252 new cases, total now 52,800

Nigeria has recorded 252 new cases of coronavirus, increasing the total figure to 52,800.

The new figure is one of the lowest in months.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, released the figures on Tuesday on its Twitter handle.

Lagos was pushed to the fourth position on the list with 26 new cases.

Recall that Lagos has for a long time been top on the list.

In the current release, Plateau tops the list with 50 cases, Enugu has 35 cases and Rivers, 27 cases.
