COVID-19: Nigeria records 226 new cases, total now 6,401

Nigeria has recorded 226 new cases of coronavirus, increasing the total number in the country to 6,401.

Lagos maintains the lead position among the states of the federation with 131 cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made the announcement on its Twitter handle.
