COVID-19: Nigeria records 221 new cases, lowest in months

Nigeria has recorded 221 new cases of coronavirus, the lowest in many months.

With the new figure, the total number of cases in the country has risen to 53,021.

The figures were released on Wednesday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.

With Plateau State leading with 60 cases, Lagos has been pushed down to the fifth place with 17 cases.

Remember that for many months, Lagos tops the list.
