COVID-19: Nigeria records 204 new cases as total is now 1,932

COVID-19 case update

The cases of coronavirus in Nigeria increased to 1,932 on Thursday following the confirmation of 204 new ones.

Kano State pushed Lagos State which had consistently led, to the second position.

While Kano recorded 80 cases, Lagos had 45 cases.

The announcement was made by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.

The tweets read:

“As at April 30 2020, 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria have recorded at least one confirmed case of #COVID19

71% of all cases are from three states.”
