Nigeria has recorded 197 new cases of coronavirus as the total figure increased to 55,829.
The figures were released on Thursday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Plateau returned to the top of the table with 83 new cases while Lagos is second with 48 new cases.
