Nigeria on Saturday recorded 1,588 new cases of coronavirus, increasing the total to 139,242.
The figures were released on Saturday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Lagos has the highest figure of 535 new cases.
