Nigeria has recorded 156 new cases of coronavirus.
The new figure brings to 54,743 the number of cases in the country.
The new figures were announced on Friday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Lagos is leading other states with 36 new cases.
