Nigeria, on Monday, recorded 132 new cases of coronavirus, shooting up the total number to 56,388.
Also, the total number of deaths recorded in the country has increased to 1,083.
The figures were released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Lagos has the highest number of new cases – 52.
Gombe is second with 27 new cases while Plateau has 17.
