Nigeria has recorded 1,133 new cases of coronavirus, one of the highest figures since the disease broke out in Nigeria.
The total is now 80,922.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made the figures public on Wednesday on its Twitter handle.
While Lagos has 397 new cases to take the lead, the Federal Capital Territory is second with 357 cases.
