Lagos State has recorded the death of another coronavirus patient.
The death brings to 19 the total number of deaths in the state.
The announcement was made on Saturday on the Twitter handle of the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
“1 #COVID19 death was recorded, bringing the total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 19,” the tweet reads.
Lagos has the highest number of patients in all the states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
As at 11:30 p.m. of April 24, out of the 1095 total figure in the country, Lagos has 657.
It is followed by FCT with 138 cases.
The total number of cases successfully managed and discharged from Lagos State isolation facilities rose to 117 on Friday.
