The police in Lagos State have shut down 15 schools, eight clubs, eight places of worship and six event centres in the state in the past six days.
The police said the actions were taken in view of the contravention of the directives issued by the state government to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state.
The details of places shut down so far are contained in a statement issued by the spokesman of the Lagos Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, on Wednesday.
He said the enforcement of government directives would soon be extended to all markets and stores.

The enforcement he said would take effect from Thursday 26th March, 2020.
