COVID-19: Lagos discharges 21 more patients, total now 875

Lagos State government on Saturday discharged 21 coronavirus patients from its hospitals.

That was after they were confirmed to have fully recovered.

Six of the discharged patients are male while 15 others are female.

The total number of patients discharged in the state is now 875.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement in a statement to the people of the state.

His words:

“Good people of Lagos,

“21 COVID19 Lagos patients; 6 females and 15 males, including a foreign national have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 6 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba,  11 from Onikan, 3 from Agidingbi and 1 from Gbagada Isolation Centres were discharged today having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.

“This brings to 875, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”
