COVID-19: Eight new cases confirmed as Nigeria’s figure reaches 89

Eight fresh cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.

With the new cases, Nigeria’s figure has risen to 89.

Of the eight, seven are from Lagos while the remaining one is from Benue.

It is the first case in Benue State.

The report of the cases was made by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC at @NCDCgov.

Read the tweet: “8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”
