A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Abdulazeez  Olawale Shobajo, has donated a hand-sensing water and antiseptic  soap dispenser to the popular Maraba Motor Park in Ilorin  East local government area of Kwara State.

The device is solar powered and automated

This is part of Shobajo’s personal community development service project which is geared towards combating the spread of COVID -19 in the area.

The dispenser is strategically positioned at the entrance of the park for easy use and to also serve as a preventive measure for people who make use of the park.

While receiving the project, the chairman of the park, Alhaji Abdulwahab Ajetumobi, appreciated the initiative of the corps member and pledged that every one that came into the park would make use of the device.

The chairman further added that for a corps member to have donated the device for use at the busy motor park showed that National Youth Service Corps was truly a scheme impacting in the lives of the rural communities.

He therefore promised the union’s readiness to be identified with the scheme in Kwara State, especially in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
