President Muhammadu Buhari will address the Nigerians today at 8 p.m.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, television, radio and other electronic media stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.
The broadcast will be made as the extension of the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja expires at 11.59.
The lockdown which was imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus was extended on April 13, 2020 for two weeks.
Nigerians wait with anxiety for the broadcast to know whether the lockdown will be relaxed or extended.
