No fewer than six coronavirus patients in Lagos will soon be discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Lagos, having recovered.
The cheering news of the plan to discharge the six patients was made public on Thursday by the Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health, Dr Tunde Ajayi.
His tweet via @thetundeajayi reads: “6 of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon.
“There’s something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead.”
It would be recalled that five new cases of coronavirus were confirmed on Wednesday in Nigeria, shooting the figure to 51.
Two of the cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, @NCDCgov, were from Lagos State.
Two were also from Abuja while the other one was from Rivers.
