Coronavirus: FCT records one new case, Nigeria’s figure shoots up to 27

The number of coronavirus cases in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, has increased to four as a new one has been confirmed.

It brings the number of cases in Nigeria to 27.

The new case was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, on Sunday.

It would be recalled that a fresh case was earlier announced in Oyo State Sunday morning too.

The tweet by the NCDC over the FCT case reads: “One new case of #COVID19 has been confirmed in FCT, Nigeria

“As at 11:00 am on the 22nd of March, there are 27 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria

“Of the 27 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death.”

Lagos- 19

FCT- 4

Ogun- 2

Ekiti- 1

Oyo- 1
