The number of dead bodies recovered from the three-storey building which collapsed in Yaba area of Lagos State on Saturday has increased.
One body was recovered late in the night on Saturday following ongoing rescue operations.
Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Acting Coordinator, South-West Zonal Office of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, made this known while giving an update on the situation.
The latest recovery has brought to three the number of deaths as a result of the incident.
It would be recalled that two persons had earlier been rescued alive.
The collapsed building is located at 16 Akanbi Crescent, Off Adesina Street, Harvey, Sabo, Yaba.
According to Farinloye, five workers were believed to be trapped during the building collapse.
