President Muhammadu Buhari has stormed Maiduguri, Borno State, in continuation of his campaign for re-election.

The election holds next month.

He is expected to address the people of the state, particularly, supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Ramat Square in Maiduguri.

As it has been the case, the president will state his achievements in the past three years and his resolve continue to do more in order to achieve his government’s goal of ensuring security, improving the economy and fighting corruption.

The president was received by the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole; National Security Adviser, Maj. -Gen. (rtd), Babagana Monguno and the Minister of State for Works, Alhaji Baba Shehuri.

The Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, and other top government personalities in the state were present.

The president was in Jos, Plateau State, on Saturday where his campaign was disrupted by the overwhelming crowd which became uncontrollable.

The disorderliness made it impossible for the president to address the supporters as he had to be taken away through the rear exit.
