The number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria is now 224 as ten new ones have been confirmed.
Lagos is still maintaining its lead with six cases, two in Abuja, and two in Edo State.
The announcement was made by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.
The tweets read: “Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.
“As at 11:15 a.m. 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.”
