Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile Ife, Osun State, has suspended a staff of its Centre for Distance Learning for sexually molesting a 19 years old female student.
The staff who is a tutor is identified as Mr. Monday Omo-Etan.
He has been handed over to the police.
The suspension of Omo-Etan came barely three weeks after the management of OAU investigated and suspended a lecturer of the Department of International Relations, Mr. Olabisi Olaleye.
The disclosure was made in a press statement made available to FrontPage by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju.
He stated that the management had restated her commitment to the total eradication of any form of sexual harassment, molestation or other social vices.
