Oando tank farm located at Marine Beach area of Lagos State is on fire.
All the staff are said to have been evacuated from the facility as spirited efforts are going on to put out the fire.
On ground doing battle with the inferno, according to the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, are fire fighters from the Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, and the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA.
Lagos State Fire Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, were being mobilised as at the time of filing this report.
Those evacuated from the facility are said to be safe.
