House 16, a private hostel occupied by students of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ife, Osun State, is on fire.
The hostel is located at Oduduwa Estate along Ede Road.
The fire outbreak, according to our correspondent, started some minutes past 7.00 p.m. and has continued raging as at the time of filing this report.
Although fire fighters have arrived the scene, it has been difficult accessing the building to put out the fire.
Eye witnesses told our correspondent that the fire was suspected to have started as a result of electric spark.
