BREAKING: Five more students of Bethel Baptist School, matron released

Another batch of five abducted students of Bethel Baptist High School, Maraban Damishi, in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State have been released.

Also released is a matron.

With the latest release, four students are remaining in the kidnappers then.

The release of the students was announced on Friday by the President, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Israel Adelani Akanji, in a statement made available to FrontPage.

The statement reads: “Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8. We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released. Thank you for your prayers and support.”

It would be recalled that bandits invaded Bethel Baptist High School in the early hours of July 5 and abducted 121 students.

Some of them have been earlier released in batches.
