The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has begun investigation into the allegation of rape made by Busola, wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo, against the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Dakolo who is a mother of three had made a shocking allegation of how the Abuja-based pastor raped her when she was a teenager.
She made the allegation in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, a lawyer and journalist on YNaija channel.

The video report has since gone viral.
It is not the first time the pastor is being accused of rape.
In 2013, a member of his church, one Ese Walter, had accused him of molesting her.
Reacting on the allegation which has sparked off the fire of controversy, CAN, said it had already reached out to the block to which Fatoyinbo belonged with a view to finding out the truth about the allegation.
The action of CAN was made known on Saturday in a statement issued by Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Special Assistant (Media & Communications) to the President of CAN, Dr Samson Ayokunle.
It said the outcome of the investigation would enable it to take a position on the issue.
The statement reads in part: “The CAN leadership, therefore, has reached out to the leadership of the block which the Pastor in question belongs with a view to getting to the root of the matter. This will help us to make the right decision on the issue.”
Meanwhile, the Christian body said it condemned any case of rape in strong terms irrespective of the person involved.
“It is ungodly, wicked, and reprehensible,” CAN said.
The body explained that it had no details of the allegations against Pastor Fatoyinbo other than those available in the media, and hence would like to carry out its investigation to know the true position of things.
