Asian-African Chamber of Commerce to confer award on minister

The Asian and African Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to honour the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubeiru Dada, with a leadership award and a doctoral degree of the University of Entrepreneurship and Technology of the State of Delaware, USA.

The ceremony, which comes up in Abuja on May 2, will hold at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The chambers will also confer leadership awards on the Emir of Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, and Dr. Aishat Ndayako Muhammed, a director at the Federal Ministry of Works.

The three recipients are being recognised for their immense contributions to economic growth and infrastructural development in Africa.

The award ceremony will be performed by the founder and chairman of AACCI, Professor GD Sigh.

He would be assisted by the vice chairman for the African continent, Dr. Leye Babalola and Dr. Umar Audu Bida, a council member.

The Asian and African Chambers of Commerce and Industry is a platform where investors and entrepreneurs meet to grow, even the nation’s economy for growth and infrastructure development.

AACCI has been at the forefront of fostering economic cooperation between the African continent and the Asians.

Since its establishment years ago, it has given a business community of both regions a voice and a tool to foster development and realise united nations sustainable development goal 2030.
