Alleged fraud: DSS hands over Aisha Buhari’s ADC to police for further action

Mr. Sani Baba-Inna, Aide-de-Camp, ADC, to the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has been handed over to the police over alleged case of fraudulent activities.

The activities were said to have been carried out through the use of the influence of working in the office of the president’s wife.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Department of State Services, DSS, Mr. Peter Afunanya, on Wednesday in Abuja, Baba-Inna was investigated after he was handed over to the service by the police.

He said the adc allegedly carried out some illegal activities falsely on behalf of Buhari.

He said the findings of the DSS have been sent to the appropriate authorities and Baba-Inna sent back to the police for necessary actions.

His words: “Investigation, however, revealed that he was never, at any given time or circumstance, directly or indirectly, instructed, by the First Lady, to act or collect, in her name, money or material gifts from any person(s) or group(s).

“In line with standard procedures expected in handling a matter of this nature, Baba-Inna is returned to the Police for appropriate regimental action.

“Accordingly, the details of the investigation have also been forwarded to the relevant authorities.”
